Our design and development approach is consistent for all our developments from the simplest website through to a completely customised and scalable online application.

We move logically through a 6 step process

Proposal Phase

This is where we meet with you to discuss your requirements, offer suggestions and gain an understanding of your business and your needs so that we can put together a solution unique for you.

Once we have your approval to commence work we then move into the Design Phase

Design Phase

In this stage we will again meet with you or members of your team to get a feel for your likes, dislikes, ideas, current branding and marketing programs to develop a design that is in keeping with the needs of your business. If we are proposing to build an online application for you, this section is also where we would define you specific requirements via a requirement specification document. To support this requirement specification we would also include design authorisation for the application input screens.

Once you have signed off on the design phase we then move into the Development phase. It is important to note that no actual work on the development of your website or application occurs until you are happy with how it will look or work and that you have authorised us to build it that way. A bit like building a house, the slab is not laid until the plans are drawn and submitted to council for approval! Then the fun begins!

Development Phase

The development stage is where the bulk of the work related to your project occurs. These is where we actually build your website or application. Approximately 60-70% of all our time related to your project occurs here. We systematically build the website or application according to the approved design authorisation or as per our requirements specification.

When the work has been completed we are ready to deploy the website or application.

Deployment Phase

This stage is where we upload your website or application to its final destination and complete our testing of the system. In this section we set up hosting, register or delegate domain names, create email addresses as well as give you access to your administration area. Initial content is also entered into the system at this stage. With our smaller developments, we tend to merge this stage and the next together.

We are now ready to Go Live!

Testing, Training and Go Live

The development is proofed and tested in this stage and we organise training of your various online tools that you may have purchased as part of your development. 'Go Live' is when we have completed all our work for you. Once 'Go LIve' has been reached the site is ready for Launch!

The development now enters Maintenance phase

Maintenance Phase

Maintenance phase is where the site is ultimately turned on and the maintenance of your website or application commences as per our policies.
